How to Delete and/or Restore a Job in Okappy
This article guides you through the steps to delete and/or restore a job in Okappy, ensuring a smooth and efficient management of your tasks.
Deleting a job
- Navigate to the Job List: Open the Okappy platform and go to the ‘Jobs’ section. This is where you’ll find a list of all your current jobs.
- Select the Job: Browse through the job list and click the Three dots menu next to the job you want to delete.
- Delete the Job: Select the Delete job option.
- Confirm Deletion: If your company settings require confirmation before deleting a job, then a confirmation prompt will appear. Confirm your choice to proceed with the deletion by entering your name or initials (at least 3 characters) and clicking OK.
- Job Deleted: Once confirmed, the job will be deleted and will no longer appear in your active jobs list.
Note: You can also delete a job from within the job details screen. To delete a job from within the job details screen
- Click the Status dropdown.
- Select the Deleted option.
- Click Update job.
Restoring a job
- Find your Deleted job: Use the global search to find your delete job or go to the Reports section and select the Deleted jobs report.
- Find Deleted Jobs: Enter a date range and click Generate report.
- Select your job: Select the relevant job and click Details
- Duplicate the Job: To restore the job, click the copy job option to create a new duplicate job
- Job Restored: A new job will be created and will appear in your active jobs list with the same details as the deleted job.
Additional tips
Double Check Before Deleting: Always make sure you’re deleting the right job. It’s good practice to double-check the job details before deleting.
