Generating diagnostic information
If you’re experiencing issues with Okappy and need to contact our support team for assistance, providing diagnostic information can be incredibly helpful. This information allows us to investigate your case more efficiently and offer a quicker resolution. Below are the steps to generate diagnostic information and send it to us.
Generating Diagnostic Information
- Log in to your Okappy account: Make sure you’re logged in to your Okappy account on the browser where you’re experiencing the issue.
- Click on the Profile Icon: Locate the profile icon at the top right corner of your screen and click on it.
- Navigate to ‘System settings’: In the dropdown menu that appears, select ‘System Settings’.
- Access ‘Diagnostic Info’: Find and click on the ‘Diagnostic Info’ tab or button.
View Diagnostic Information: A dialog box will open containing diagnostic information that we can use to investigate your case.
Sending Diagnostic Information to Okappy Support
Once you have generated the diagnostic information, you have two options for sending it to us:
Option 1: Open a New Case
Click on ‘Send Message’: In the dialog box containing the diagnostic information, you’ll find a button labelled ‘Send Message’. Click on it to open a new support case.
Option 2: Reopen an Existing Case via Email
- Copy Diagnostic Information: Click inside the dialog box containing the diagnostic information. Use `Ctrl-A` to select all the text (as the contents are larger than what is visible).
- Paste into Email: Paste the copied diagnostic information into a reply to the existing support email thread.
- Send the Email: Once you’ve pasted the diagnostic information, send the email to reopen your case with Okappy Support.
